Love That Story: Observations from a Gorgeously Queer Life

3/5

This is JVN being JVN.

Quirky, clever, hilarious, while brutally honest and somehow still positive. And chances are, you’ll learn something from this book of essays, which cover topics ranging from dealing with ravaging grief while in the public eye to HIV+ drug funding.

He’s finding his voice in this outing, where his first book was more about how we got to this point.

It’s a quick and worthwhile read, though the genre falls somewhere between self-help and autobiography.

Hi! I’m Adrienne. I really love reading books – it doesn’t matter if it’s a classic novel on a rainy day or the latest bestseller while lying in the sun. I also really enjoy sharing my thoughts about books with others. This is why I write book reviews, to help fellow book lovers find their next great read.
