Symphony for a Deadly Throne (Mousai, #3)

5/5

Well, I’m devastated. The Mousai series comes to a close, orchestrated to a fitting, thrilling end by E.J. Mellow.

Every detail in the previous two books led to this series, painstakingly crafted down to each tiny detail. We finally get to spend most of this book within the dark Thief Kingdom with the eldest Bassette sister. It’s a story of sisters, competition, music, magic and responsibility. There are mistakes, even with a few lives lost, and your heart is torn, just like Arabessa’s.

This series and final installment are stunning and timeless, with rich characters, intertwined plots, and some dark romance that takes your breath away.

Highly recommend this unique saga of sisters.

Hi! I’m Adrienne. I really love reading books – it doesn’t matter if it’s a classic novel on a rainy day or the latest bestseller while lying in the sun. I also really enjoy sharing my thoughts about books with others. This is why I write book reviews, to help fellow book lovers find their next great read.
