Trial of the Sun Queen

4/5

A competition she didn’t choose to be in. A rivalry she barely understands after being trapped in a prison for a dozen years for a reason that’s never been shared with her. Whispers of hidden talent. And of course, dark and light fae every which way you turn.

Does this book have hints of other stories and series? Yes. Did I inhale it within a day and already request the next story from the library? Also yes.

Tuli’s Trial of the Sun Queen is a wonderful escape, full of bratty heroines and dark anti-heroes who pretend not to help. Not to mention a stylist who consistently steals the show. The world-building is strong, though not overly detailed, and there’s a twist that surprises at the end.

A perfect weekend read.

Hi! I’m Adrienne. I really love reading books – it doesn’t matter if it’s a classic novel on a rainy day or the latest bestseller while lying in the sun. I also really enjoy sharing my thoughts about books with others. This is why I write book reviews, to help fellow book lovers find their next great read.
